T's Burritos Rebranding
Advertising, Branding, Communication, Production & Signage Design
T's Burritos is a Tex-Mex "create-your-own burrito" restaurant located on Misawa Air Base that was established in 2015. After a steady decline in customer sales and satisfaction, a rebrand was conducted in 2017. The rebrand emphasized the new breakfast hours and items in hopes of reaching a new customer market
and minimizing competition between T's Burritos and the Tohoku Dining dinner buffet
whom served the same clientele under the same roof.
Branding

The new T's Burritos logo was designed with breakfast in mind. The rising sun in the background is inspired by an egg burrito.
The yellow sunny egg is "wrapped" in an orange burrito. The rooster greets customers as they roll in to create their
favorite breakfast burrito as early as 6:30 a.m. The shape of the entire logo is a nod to the Mexican sombrero that was initially used as the symbol for T's Burritos. Appropriate variations of the logo were created for scenarios requiring low-cost or non-color printing, prints on dark or red backgrounds, and uniform embroidery.

Marketing for the restaurant updates began while the current restaurant was still running. The goal was to seamlessly transition
to the new hours and items while also giving current clientele advanced notice on the coming changes.
Advertising occurred via print, digital, and web campaigns.

Along with the new branding came new signage. The outdoor awning sign was replaced, the menu had to be completely redesigned, and the new T's Mug Club promotion effort was launched.

After the new branding, hours, and items were introduced, new take-out menus were designed and given to each customer that entered the restaurant. T's Burritos implemented a new call-in ordering option as a convenience to customers. Call-in order forms were created to aid the workers in taking the orders quickly and accurately over the phone.

T's Burritos offered Bubble Tea for a limited time three months after their rebranding. Special print and web advertisements
were made to promote the sale of this trendy beverage while supplies last. Bubble tea was so popular that it was later added
to the menu as a permanent item.
